Sponsored by Bartlett Child Care Center, Inc Kids Zone Camp runs from May 29th to August 11th. Ages range from 6-12, and children are divided into groups according to their age. Activities include swimming, skating, bowling, a book club, science experiments and more. Christ Methodist Day School is offering a camp July 10th through the 13th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for girls aged 7-14. Campers will create dolls, marbleized paper, an embossed velvet bag and design their own T-Shirt. On the last day, campers take a field trip to Seize the Clay to create pottery art. Sanga Farm offers total horsemanship classes in June where children aged 5-18 are each "given" their own horse for the week. From the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. campers enjoy the responsibility of grooming, caring for and safely riding their own horse. This camp teaches young prospective horse owners about animal care and ownership while developing a sound foundation as a rider. The final day of camp concludes with a family day where the whole family is invited to watch a culmination of the week's experiences in a student-produced show. The camp costs $150 per child.
